The drug my mother received to prevent a miscarriage when she was pregnant with me wasn't safe after all. My cancer test was negative. They also warned me I may not be able to have children. That was in the back of my mind for another 11 years until our son was born. Still, I'm not in the clear. I have to be careful about my exposure to chemicals that can mimic hormones. They are everywhere, in places I never expected! I wish I'd known all this stuff much sooner! I avoided plastic water bottles and food containers. I didn’t realize that a least a dozen other things were messing with my hormones every day!
